Fixing the Space Invaders Screen Garbage

After cleaning up the Space Invaders Deluxe cabinet, I attacked the boardset. I was getting garbage on the screen when I powered up the game. Using Alex Yeckley’s instructions on troubleshooting the power supply, I discovered the +12V would only go as high as +10V. I replaced the +12V voltage regulator with part # 7812 from Radio Shack. (Looking at the power supply board, with the big heat sink on the right, the +12V regulator is located at the bottom of the heat sink. The regulator might be labeled as a 78M12UC or a LM340-12.) This fixed the voltage problem but I still had the garbage on the screen.
